TM course fee
TM is taught by a registered educational charity committed to making TM’s benefits available to as many people as possible. To honour this mission, the TM course fee is income-based and can be paid in four instalments. In addition, with generous donations, we make scholarships available to the homeless, prisoners, children at risk, and those with financial challenges.

The TM course fee includes:
- Personalised one-on-one instruction
- 3 group sessions with your teacher and other course participants
- Continued support from certified TM teachers, including personal tune-ups
- The TM app (including a custom timer, access to daily group meditations and other TM events, a library of videos and knowledge, and much more)
- Access to TM centres around the world

Frequently asked questions
Your annual income is your individual gross income (before taxes and expenses). We won't ask you for evidence of your income, we rely on your integrity.
If you choose to pay in four instalments during check-out, your total course fee is simply divided into four payments. We don’t charge interest or require a credit check. The first payment is charged before your TM course begins and the remaining three are auto-charged at monthly intervals for the following three months.
Those on universal credit, state pension only, full-time students with an NUS card, or any other similar circumstances qualify for the concession rate.
We have a special discounted rate of £195 for school children aged 10 and over. Children aged under 10 pay only 25% of their primary caregiver's fee.
There are also special rates for families.
We offer partial scholarships to deserving individuals in need.
Hybrid and in-person courses both include a one-on-one personalised instruction session. They also include follow-up sessions that take place in person, online, or a combination of these options, according to your preference. Whether you opt for a hybrid or in-person TM course, you will be guided throughout your course by a certified TM teacher. After your course, you will also benefit from ongoing support from your teacher, or any TM teacher across the UK. Both courses also include access to the TM app, which comes with a TM timer, a library of knowledge, and access to group meditations.
The Transcendental Meditation technique is only available in the UK through Maharishi Foundation, registered educational charity number 270157 (England & Wales), XR20456 (Northern Ireland), and SC041919 (Scotland).
All revenues from course fees go entirely to support the organisation's educational and charitable initiatives.
Over the past several years, full TM scholarships have been given to more than one million at-risk students, military veterans and others in need through partnerships with other non-profit organisations and foundations.

Book a TM course
Most of the TM course takes place according to your preference: either in person or remotely. The first session, however, is always held in person, at a local TM Centre or teaching space. The TM course is offered in 80+ locations in the UK, including most major cities.
Taught by a non-profit
For over 60 years, the Maharishi Foundation has made Transcendental Meditation available worldwide, training teachers who have brought the practice to millions of people. It has also been involved in many charitable initiatives, including providing free meditation instruction to under-served communities and supporting the establishment of TM Centres in developing countries.
