Claire Winteringham grew up near Birmingham and went on to study Art and Design at Birmingham City University and Manchester Metropolitan University, which is where she learned Transcendental Meditation almost 50 years ago. She says when she first discovered this meditation, she felt she had found what she had been looking for all her life, and credits her creative success to TM. Since graduating, Claire has worked as a professional artist and designer and has been exhibited at galleries across the UK including the Royal Watercolour Society and Society of Artists in Watercolour. Her paintings and designs have been sold to clients including Richard Branson and Birmingham City Museum and Art Gallery, The National Trust, John Lewis, and Art Angels Publishing. In 2014, Claire trained as a certified teacher of TM and now travels down to her hometown, Birmingham, to teach courses. “I’m forever grateful to have discovered this meditation when I did.
