Felicity learned Transcendental Meditation in 1980 when she was working as a primary school teacher in Orford, Suffolk. Ever since becoming a TM teacher in 1986, she has worked for Maharishi Foundation (the educational charity under which Transcendental Meditation is taught worldwide). Felicity taught in London where, with John Darby, she was involved in programmes to introduce TM in businesses and other organisations. Subsequently, she moved back to Suffolk to teach TM and run the residential TM Centre in Badingham for 14 years with her husband Eric. She later moved to the new facility in Rendlesham to teach and run courses. Felicity has taken several courses in Maharishi Ayurveda, a prevention-oriented, time-tested and holistic natural health system, and has a diploma in Marma Therapy, a gentle, effective treatment of the body's energy points and channels to purify, strengthen, rejuvenate and revitalise the body. Felicity currently runs a monthly in-person meeting for those who have learnt TM in Suffolk.
