John learned Transcendental Meditation following endorsement by 600 doctors. With a background in administration he could see how things would run more smoothly if stress could be taken out of the individual. He was so pleased with the results that in 1992 he became a teacher and has taught several hundred how to easily improve the quality of their lives.

John is a founder member of the meditators group in Lancashire.
