It depends on how soon your chosen Personal Instruction date is:
- If your course starts within the next 16 days, you'll complete your booking and payment now. This secures your spot immediately.
- If you're booking for a date more than 16 days away, you'll reserve your place today without paying upfront. Your teacher will send you a payment link closer to the time.
There’s no difference in what you pay, so just choose the course date that’s most convenient for you.
We are able to offer a satisfaction guarantee because, during the past 50 years, the TM technique has been consistently found to be effective for millions of people from all walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds. However, the TM technique can work and its benefits can be enjoyed only if it is learned properly and practiced regularly. Therefore, our satisfaction guarantee has the following requirements: 1) attend all course sessions, 2) attend a further session 1-2 weeks after personal instruction, 3) have a personal "tune-up" session to ensure correct practice; and 4) practice TM regularly for a minimum of 30 days. Refunds must be requested within 60 days of personal instruction.
To qualify for the student fee, you must be in high school, a full-time undergraduate college student taking a minimum of 12 credits per semester, or a graduate student taking a minimum of 9 credits per semester.
Scholarships and partial grants may be available for those in need of financial assistance, frontline workers, and veterans, as funds allow.
While the hybrid sessions over Days 2-4 includes self-study on the TM app, there are also remote meetings with your teacher each day. Whichever format you opt for for sessions 2-4, you will also benefit from ongoing support from your teacher, or any TM teacher across the U.S. Both courses also include access to the TM app, which comes with a TM timer, a library of knowledge, and access to group meditations. Whether you choose hybrid or in-person for sessions 2-4, both course formats also include continued learning over the following four months, with six further group sessions and a full-day meditation retreat.
The Transcendental Meditation technique is taught in the United States through Maharishi Foundation USA, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Course fees are used to cover teacher compensation and expenses that support the teaching of the TM technique.
