Alessandra “Alex” Givens is a Certified Transcendental Meditation teacher based in St. Augustine, Florida. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Alex is an alumna of Maharishi International University, where she studied Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.

After years of experience in the corporate world, Alex shifted her career toward a path more closely aligned with her values and passions, dedicating herself to teaching Transcendental Meditation and growing her artisan business, Alegria Handmade.

Passionate about holistic well-being and the development of consciousness, Alex enjoys sharing the simple, natural practice of TM and helping others experience greater inner peace, clarity, and balance in their daily lives. Through her work with the St. Augustine TM Center, she is dedicated to supporting meditators in their practice and creating a warm and welcoming sense of community.
