Ken was personally trained to teach TM by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1973, and has taught several hundred people in Fayetteville Arkansas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and, currently, in the Iowa City area where he lives. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Zoology. He was a career biomedical research associate (mostly cancer-related research) at the University of Iowa for 20 years and co authored 12 publications on pulmonary and cancer topics prior to his retirement in 2014. He has taught TM full time in the Iowa City area since 2015. He has lived in Iowa City for 27 years.
