Reve first learned TM in Cambridge, MA in 1969 and attended TM Teacher Training at the Estes Park, CO course in October of 1970. She taught TM in Indiana until summer of 1971 when she and Rusty Fraser moved to Denver to become the Area Coordinators for the TM organization. She has always been active in the movement and has continued to instruct whenever possible.

Reve received an MS in Education and Urban Studies from Indiana University. She was an elementary school teacher in the Cherry Creek School District in Colorado for over 40 years. In 2016, she retired from her position as a first-grade teacher to devote full time to teaching TM in Denver. Reve has taught TM to over 2,000 people.
